Musical Description:
The Neverly Brothers are not an “oldies cover band,” nor are they a tribute act. They are a very unique and exciting retro-sonic concept…AND ABOVE ALL THEY ARE TRUE ENTERTAINERS! Their enthusiastic live performances will transport you back in time to experience the evolution of rock n’ roll from its 1950s American Rockabilly roots to the 1960s British Invasion. Their song sequence & selection, accompanied by narrative historical footnotes, will illustrate how the music and energy of the American Rock n’ Roll pioneers set the stage for the young bands of the British Invasion. Their repertoire consists of show-stopping renditions of early hits by Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks and many other artists who shaped rock n' roll from 1955 through 1965.

About the Band members:
*Kevin Giragosian – vocals, guitar, harmonica - Kevin has been a prominent figure on the
*Kegham Giragosian – drums, vocals - Keg started his musical career in the early 1990s as the drummer and harmony vocalist for brother Kevin’s former band The Wombats. As the drummer for The Neverly Brothers, he has developed his own unique, energetic and visually entertaining playing style. He stands, not sits, behind a minimalist drum kit - consisting of only a bass drum and a snare drum – and swings his arms in windmill circles beating the snare drum with brushes - not sticks. Although it may look unorthodox, he lays down a solid beat and driving rhythm more powerful than most drummers using conventional 4 and 5 piece kits. Keg is also a strong vocalist who sings lead on a number of songs. But his true vocal assets lie in his vocal harmonies and engaging counter melodies. When Kevin & Kegham sing those sweet two-part vocal harmonies, a la The Everly Brothers or John Lennon & Paul McCartney, you’ll find yourself saying: “Only brothers could harmonize like that!” His intuitive vocal sensibilities and unique and animated drumming style make Keg an integral part of the signature “Neverly” look and sound.
*Craig Gigstad – vocals, Upright Bass Fiddle - Craig has been a veteran of the Chicago music scene for over 20 years – touring and performing with a variety of local acts and national recording artists. He is equally versatile as a vocalist and an instrumentalist and, like his “Neverly brethren,” he is a true entertainer. Craig sings his share of backing vocal harmony but truly shines when spotlighting his robust lead vocals on barnburners such as Jerry Lee Lewis “Great balls of fire.” Augmenting his vocal talent is his powerful and exciting bass playing. Whether riding the bass like a wild stallion or slapping out a solid rockabilly groove, he maintains a steady pulse that rattles the rafters and keeps audiences alternately tapping their toes and stomping their feet. Together with Keg’s solid drumming and Kevin’s muscular rhythm guitar, Craig’s bass playing adds to what some fans have described as “pound for pound the most formidable rhythm section on the planet.” His powerful upright bass playing, his vocal talents and his stage presence give Craig the distinction of rounding out that unmistakable “Neverly” look and sound.
